European cloud providers suffer market share losses

New data from Synergy Research Group shows that since the beginning of 2017 the European cloud market has grown more than threefold, reaching EUR 5.9 billion (or $6.9 billion) in the third quarter of 2020.

Cognizant to acquire Linium

Cognizant has agreed to acquire Linium, a cloud transformation consultancy group specialising in the ServiceNow platform and solutions for smart digital enterprise workflows. Linium, operating as the ServiceNow business unit of Ness Digital Engineering, a privately-held portfolio company of The Rohatyn Group, helps Fortune 100 clients and others leverage cloud technology to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Manchester data centre operator Teledata has invested £450,000 into improved resilience at its Wythenshawe colocation and cloud hosting facility.
