In this role, she is responsible for leading and expanding Sitecore's business and teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and partnering with leadership across Sitecore's extensive ecosystem to enhance the integration of reseller and distribution partners into the company's high-growth and emerging markets in EMEA.

Nowakowska previously led EMEA sales at Skillsoft, after managing channel sales within the company. Before embarking on her 23-year career at Skillsoft, she held leadership roles at SmartForce and Tulip Computers.

“Sitecore enjoys tremendous adoption throughout EMEA,” said Dave O’Flanagan, CEO of Sitecore. “As we spur even faster growth with innovative, marketer-first AI capabilities for our digital experience platform, Agata’s deep experience will deliver value to customers and partners across the region."

“I am delighted to join Sitecore at this pivotal moment,” said Nowakowska. “Sitecore’s innovative solutions and strategic vision make it exceptionally well-positioned to be able to redefine how companies manage content and impact their customers’ digital experiences. I am confident we have a tremendous opportunity ahead in EMEA.”

Nowakowska’s appointment comes at an exciting time, as earlier this month, Sitecore announced a new CFO, Michael Bannon, as well as seasoned executives Stuart O’Neill and Zac Lin to drive growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The company plans to share its latest product innovations at its annual Sitecore Symposium event next month in Nashville.
