StratusPower is a state-of-the-art UPS system specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of data center operators, providing complete peace of mind when it comes to power availability and reliability while helping data centers to achieve net-zero targets. The three-phase modular UPS covers the power range from 50 to 1,500 kW in one cabinet and can be paralleled for 3,750 kW of uninterrupted, clean power.

As data centers become increasingly important to businesses, maintaining uptime and avoiding downtime has never been more important. Downtime can lead to significant financial losses, reputational damage, and lost customers. In addition, data centers face the challenge of improving their sustainability and reducing their environmental footprint. As demand for data centers grows, so does their energy consumption, making it increasingly important to find ways to improve their efficiency and reduce their environmental impact. To address these challenges, Centiel developed StratusPower, which boasts an industry-leading voltage and frequency independence (VFI) efficiency of 97.6 percent as well as a flat efficiency curve, based on a widely proven semiconductor technology. These features allow StratusPower to deliver high efficiency and low energy losses, reducing heat generation and the size and cost of cooling systems while keeping power availability at the highest level.

One of the key features of the StratusPower is its innovative topology, referred to as DARA (Distributed Active-Redundant Architecture), which ensures full availability with no single point of failure. Each UPS module is independent, redundant and interconnected, maximizing the mean time between failures (MTBF) and safeguarding the power to critical applications with a nine-nines (99.9999999 percent) uptime guarantee.

The StratusPower system is highly scalable and it’s easy to add or remove modules as power needs change. StratusPower offers advanced energy management features and a full range of connectivity options, making it the ideal choice for data center operators looking to optimize their power infrastructure.

StratusPower incorporates a range of cutting-edge technologies to optimize performance and reliability, including a triple-mode parallel bus that provides an extra layer of redundancy, eliminating any single point of failure in communication between frames and modules. It also features backfeed protection and Distributed Decision Making (DDM©) technology. Additionally, Centiel's unique DCFlex© technology offers unparalleled flexibility when it comes to battery storage installation and configuration, as well as preparing the infrastructure to manage both current and future energy sources.

Additionally, StratusPower features maximum efficiency management (MEM), a user-enabled intelligent feature that saves power by matching powered module numbers to load demand.

With a design life of more than 30 years and components that don't need to be replaced for 15+ years, StratusPower is the ultimate infrastructure solution for data centers. It not only minimizes total cost of ownership but also helps achieve sustainability goals with a full commitment to zero waste and net-zero policies.

The system is highly efficient, scalable, and reliable, providing complete peace of mind when it comes to power availability and uptime.

"We're thrilled to introduce StratusPower to the market," says Gerado Lecuona, Director at Centiel. "We understand the challenges that come with keeping data centers running 24/7 without interruption while seeking net-zero targets. We've designed StratusPower to meet those challenges head-on. With its innovative topology, advanced energy management features, and unmatched scalability, StratusPower is the ultimate UPS system for data center operators looking to optimize their power infrastructure."
