LogRhythm launches London-based CloudAI data centre

LogRhythm’s EMEA footprint expands as CloudAI becomes available to more customers and regions.

LogRhythm has launched a CloudAI London data centre (DC) to support the growing number of customers in the EMEA region. New and existing CloudAI customers in EMEA are now able to utilise the new DC, which is hosted on the Google Cloud Platform.

Created to help LogRhythm customers across the globe avoid damaging cyber-incidents, CloudAI is a fully integrated analytics subscription service for LogRhythm’s NextGen SIEM Platform. Launched in October 2017, CloudAI extends LogRhythm’s User and Entity Behavioural Analytics (UEBA) capabilities by leveraging unsupervised machine learning across identity-based user activity to recognise threats with minimal ramp time.

The shortage of qualified analysts, the increasing complexity and volume of cyberthreats, the inefficiency of manual processes, and the growing costs of securing a business are putting a great burden on security operations centres (SOCs). By automating tasks associated with threat detection with AI, CloudAI enables security analysts to focus on high-level decisions that require intuition and creativity.

“We’re thrilled to see the CloudAI momentum build in the EMEA region,” said Chris Petersen, Chief Product and Technology Officer and co-founder of LogRhythm. “The new London DC for CloudAI will make it more efficient for our growing number of EMEA customers to transfer data in region and utilise our intelligent behavioural analytics to recognise user threats.”

CloudAI London DC is fully compliant with the Service Organisation Control (SOC2) and received an ISO 27001 certification.

‘’Given our strong UK and Western Europe customer base, London was the obvious choice for our second data centre,” continued Petersen. “However, LogRhythm is a company with customers around the globe, and our expansion plans are ambitious. As our customer base continues to grow in and outside the region, we look forward to expanding our global footprint even further. We’re hopeful more companies across the world take advantage of the efficiency and resource-saving benefits of CloudAI.’’
