Leaseweb to boost UK expansion through Colt DCS partnership

Colt Data Centre Services is partnering with global cloud hosting provider, Leaseweb for at least 1 year. The partnership will allow Leaseweb to establish its footing and grow its client base further in the UK market.

Leaseweb’s core client base is made up of SMBs to mid-market companies in the Internet and IT business industry, with a strong focus on companies operating a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, such as TOPdesk and Algolia. It works closely with brands in the MarTech, FinTech and Gaming industries, as well as Managed Service Providers and System Integrators.

As such, Leaseweb was specifically looking for a reliable colocation services provider that offered great value at a reasonable rate. Having recently entered the UK market, the company’s priority was also to grow swiftly and flexibly at a predictable cost level.

Colt DCS’ carrier-neutral offering and competitive pricing meant that it was the data centre provider of choice for Leaseweb. Its latest channel partner programme will allow Leaseweb to generate leads and grow revenues by leveraging the services available within Colt DCS’s data centre ecosystem.

The partnership will be rolled out in the UK market initially, with views to expand to other markets in the future.

Our fundamental belief is that applications should be platform agnostic, offering our customers choice among different technologies, and Colt DCS was one of the very few providers that was able to successfully address this and provide for our colocation needs,” said Eltjo Hofstee, Managing Director UK at Leaseweb. “The company also has a good reputation for listening to its customers, and translate their needs into results. With Colt DCS’ expert services on our side, we believe that we have the right support in place to expand in the UK market and take our business to greater heights.”

“At Colt DCS, our main focus is to provide flexible options to address the differing needs of our customers,” says Ben Tuckwell, Global Channel Director at Colt Data Centre Services. “Our flexible and resilient carrier-neutral services will provide LeaseWeb with the necessary capabilities on its journey to establish itself as a key cloud hosting provider in the UK market.”
