Kyndryl and AWS expand collaboration to enhance AI adoption

Kyndryl extends its partnership with AWS to support global AI adoption.

Kyndryl, an enterprise technology services provider, has expanded its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support organisations in adopting and scaling agentic AI.

The updated Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) includes plans to strengthen Kyndryl’s AWS-focused global workforce, which includes over 11,000 AWS-certified professionals. AWS will invest in supporting skills development within Kyndryl’s teams, with a focus on AI-related capabilities intended to support business transformation using agentic AI.

Kyndryl and AWS have also worked together to develop industry-specific AI modernisation frameworks designed to help organisations implement AI-based solutions more quickly. These offerings are intended to help customers use their AWS Cloud investments and achieve expected operational outcomes.

In a separate project, Kyndryl and AWS supported an IT modernisation programme for Alpitour World, which involved moving the company’s core workloads to AWS. This reflects Kyndryl’s involvement in managing large-scale IT migration projects.

In Europe, the collaboration between Kyndryl and AWS is expected to continue expanding. As part of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud initiative, Kyndryl is involved in extending its AWS-related capabilities. The partnership includes the use of AI to help coordinate workflows and automate routine tasks, alongside continued migration of workloads to AWS.

Overall, the renewed agreement is focused on supporting AI adoption, improving operational efficiency, and reducing time spent on routine system maintenance.

Kyndryl and AWS also plan to continue joint marketing activities aimed at promoting AI-based solutions and supporting the modernisation of IT systems across different regions.
