Citrix appoints new area vice president for Northern Europe

New leader brings cloud experience; tasked with driving growth and innovation.

Citrix announces the appointment of Michelle Senecal de Fonseca as Area Vice President, Northern Europe. Michelle brings diverse, international business and leadership experience to Citrix, with particular expertise in cloud services.

 

Reporting to Sherif Seddik, Vice President, Sales & Services EMEA, she will be responsible for the continued growth and development of Citrix sales and services operations in the Northern Europe region (comprising UK/Ireland and the Nordic countries) by driving revenues, executing an aggressive growth strategy and cultivating the company’s valued partner ecosystem. 

 

Prior to joining Citrix, Michelle was global managing director for Vodafone Cloud and Hosting Services – part of the Vodafone Global Enterprise group - responsible for all areas of the business including sales, strategy, product and service development. Michelle has developed a career of more than 25 years in international telecommunications and technology by managing large-scale corporations and small entrepreneurial start-ups, owned by both the public markets and private equity, including positions at Cable and Wireless, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and NextiraOne. Michelle is also a non-executive director at FDM Group, and a co-founder and board member of the Women in Telecoms and Technology (WiTT) group.

 

Michelle will assume her new role on January 4th, 2017.
