Intermedia, a one-stop-shop for cloud IT services, has expanded its UK channel ecosystem by appointing Arrow as a distributor for Intermedia’s Office in the Cloud™ suite of business cloud applications.

Intermedia’s cloud management platform is unique as it’s completely tailored to the IT channel for both VARs and MSPs. The platform includes Intermedia’s Office in the Cloud, which encompasses over 20 tightly integrated IT services with products such as Hosted Exchange for business-grade email.

Through this new agreement, Arrow will introduce the channel community to Intermedia’s “Business Cloud Platform”. The engagement will allow UK channel partners to profit from the growing demand from SMBs for business cloud applications.

‘’We’re very excited about the agreement with Arrow and what this means for both the channel and the UK business community,” said Richard Walters, GM of Intermedia EMEA. ‘’Through Arrow’s great customer network, our Office in the Cloud, and the go-to-market support offered by our two organisations combined, we look forward to enabling and equipping channel partners to grow new revenue streams and help them offer increased client value.”

David Fearne, Technical Director, Arrow ECS UKI, commented, "Arrow is delighted to be working closely with Intermedia; we can start to bring enterprise-grade business applications as a service to the channel. This helps Arrow's cloud strategy to continue to evolve and enhances its value as a leading global cloud distributor. The agreement underlines our commitment as ‘cloud enabler’ for the channel and end customers."

‘’At Intermedia, we believe it’s vital that SMBs have the freedom to focus on managing and growing their business,” added Jarmila Yu, Intermedia’s International Marketing Director. “As a vendor we must do whatever we can to help both partners and SMBs capitalise on the opportunities that cloud applications offer. Our UK brand campaign, newly enhanced channel partner programme, and strategic channel relationships, such as the agreement with Arrow, bring this to life.’’

Alex Hilton, CEO of the Cloud Industry Forum, recently stated, “A significant proportion of Cloud users report experiencing difficulties during the migration process. The channel has a critical role to play here, and resellers are in the unique position to offer advice and assistance to help end users make the move. The opportunities posed by Cloud for the channel are huge, but it will be resellers that partner correctly and hone their skills and expertise that will reap the most spoils.”

Intermedia’s award-winning partner program enables partners to profit from the cloud without changing how they do business. It provides all of its partners with premium marketing tools and resources for building awareness and driving demand. There are no minimums, commitments or programme fees.
