IT services company Pure IT selected NaviSite as its Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution service provider to enable it to deliver a faster and more reliable DaaS offering to its customers, and help the business grow organically. NaviSite was selected over other solutions after a proof of concept demonstrated its reliable technical capabilities.

Pure IT is an IT support service company that functions as the IT department for small to medium sized businesses in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex, UK. With a strong focus on customer service, Pure IT aims to be the one-stop shop for smaller businesses and offers them a full range of IT services. Reselling cloud computing services to many of its customers means that Pure IT needs to partner with reliable providers.

Pure IT faced a number of problems with its previous DaaS provider which meant that it was unable to deliver the high quality of service which marked its normal relationship with its customers. When the incumbent vendor announced that it would be ceasing the service to Pure IT at the end of July, and would no longer be offering this service to the SME market, Pure IT began the search for a new provider. The company looked for a vendor who could deliver a reliable service to help it meet its customers’ mobility needs, as well as give it the confidence to expand its own business. After meeting with NaviSite, Pure IT felt it had met the right provider to meet its goals. Pure IT then ran a proof-of-concept on NaviSite’s DaaS platform and the results proved that they had a found a partner capable of delivering a superior service.

NaviSite’s enterprise class, cloud-based virtual desktop solutions lets businesses address the challenges of desktop administration and management, helping to increase employee mobility without compromising the security of vital data. Pure IT looked at a number of different providers to replace its previous DaaS partner and it quickly became clear that NaviSite’s scalability of service, enterprise class equipment and infrastructure was the right platform to support their growth plans.

“Many of our customers have staff that work remotely, so it’s essential that they have desktop access and can work from anywhere,” said Steve Macklin, managing director and owner of Pure IT. “NaviSite has worked to understand our customers’ needs, and helped to quickly build trust and confidence with them by visiting each of the care homes to demonstrate the new system. They’ve shown their commitment to delivering quality service, and we look forward to growing our relationship with them.”

Sean McAvan, managing director of NaviSite Europe said, “Pure IT has worked hard to win their customers’ trust and we are committed to supporting them to deliver great value to their clients. We understand how important reliability and uptime are for Pure IT, and will work to ensure we’re helping them deliver high quality DaaS services to their customers.”
