AI platform from Netcompany used in cycling partnership

Netcompany’s PULSE AI technology is being used in a partnership with a UK cycling team to support decision-making in elite cycling.

At the centre of the partnership is PULSE, Netcompany’s AI-driven digital platform. The system is used as a control hub to support organisations and public bodies by collecting, connecting, and analysing data from complex ecosystems. It is designed to support real-time decision-making and performance optimisation.

PULSE has already been used in environments such as Munich and Heathrow airports. The collaboration represents the use of European AI technology in professional cycling.

The platform is being embedded across the team, riders, and races, combining multiple data inputs into a single resource intended to support real-time decision-making. As part of a five-year agreement, the team will have access to PULSE licences throughout the partnership.

The collaboration aligns with Netcompany’s expansion in the UK, Europe’s largest IT market. It follows agreements with organisations including HMRC, TSS, and Heathrow Airport.

The partnership is intended to support the use of data and technology in performance-related decision-making within the team structure, including race operations and rider support.

The collaboration is also intended to support coordination between riders and support staff, with the aim of improving access to data and information during competition.
