Scality appoints Greg DiFraia to lead global AI strategy

Scality has appointed Greg DiFraia as Senior Vice President of AI Alliances and Partnerships, highlighting its focus on AI and data-driven solutions.

Scality has announced the appointment of Greg DiFraia as Senior Vice President of AI Alliances and Partnerships. In this role, he will lead the company’s global AI strategy, with a focus on strategic partnerships and go-to-market initiatives intended to support enterprise AI adoption.

DiFraia has over two decades of experience in technology business expansion, with expertise in data storage, global markets, strategic sales, and alliance development. His prior experience at Scality is expected to support execution across both field and executive functions.

DiFraia previously worked at Scality as General Manager and Field CTO, where he contributed to the company’s growth and market expansion over a five-year period. His career also includes roles at Turbonomic as Vice President of Strategic Alliances and leadership positions at Dell EMC, where he was involved in the development and launch of object storage platforms including Atmos and ECS.

In his new role at Scality, DiFraia will focus on expanding the company’s AI alliances and partner ecosystem, working with technology providers, system integrators, and cloud platforms to develop solutions for enterprise AI workloads.

Scality’s AI ecosystem certification programme currently includes validations across more than 20 AI and machine learning tools and frameworks.
