SUSE and NVIDIA launch AI factory for enterprise use

SUSE and NVIDIA have collaborated on an AI Factory designed to support enterprises in deploying and managing AI applications with a focus on security and scalability.

SUSE, known for its open source solutions, has introduced the SUSE AI Factory in partnership with NVIDIA. This offering combines SUSE AI and NVIDIA AI Enterprise to provide an integrated software stack intended for enterprise AI workloads. It is designed to support the development, deployment, management, and governance of AI applications at scale across environments such as edge, datacenters, and cloud.

The SUSE AI Factory is positioned around requirements for digital sovereignty and data control. It is intended to allow enterprises to use NVIDIA AI technologies while keeping sensitive data and proprietary models within their own infrastructure. The stack includes components such as NVIDIA NIM microservices, open Nemotron models, and NVIDIA NeMo for building and managing AI agents. It also incorporates NVIDIA Run:ai for GPU orchestration, along with NVIDIA Kubernetes Operators, the NVIDIA OpenShell secure runtime, and NemoClaw, integrated with SUSE’s K3s technology.

The collaboration is aimed at supporting enterprise needs for infrastructure capable of handling regulated and data-sensitive AI workloads, with a focus on governance and controlled deployment as organisations expand their use of AI systems.
