Ali Mustoe-Playfair appointed Director of Agentic Operations at ANS

ANS appoints Ali Mustoe-Playfair as Director of Agentic Operations, with the aim of supporting AI-driven strategies and improving operations through agentic solutions.

ANS, a digital transformation company and Microsoft UK Partner of the Year, has announced the appointment of Ali Mustoe-Playfair as Director of Agentic Operations. The role is intended to support ANS’s broader AI transformation efforts, including its goal of integrating AI agents across the organisation by 2026, as well as helping customers implement AI agents in practical use cases.

ANS continues to expand its work in AI, and has been recognised as one of the first UK organisations to achieve Microsoft Frontier Partner status. It was also named Microsoft UK Partner of the Year, reflecting its work in delivering AI-based solutions for customers.

Ali Mustoe-Playfair has worked at ANS for more than five years and was previously Head of Business Operations. During her time at the company, she has held four roles, building experience across different areas of the organisation and developing an understanding of its operations. In her new role, she will focus on applying agentic AI to address business challenges across the organisation.

The role focuses on identifying operational challenges across different functions and developing AI-based approaches aimed at improving outcomes. ANS is also expanding its Customer Zero approach, using its own environment to implement and test AI systems in order to gain experience that can inform customer deployments.

Ali Mustoe-Playfair, Director of Agentic Operations at ANS, said: “Agentic AI shouldn’t start with technology, it should start with the challenges businesses are trying to solve. My focus is on understanding those challenges and translating them into practical AI solutions that genuinely improve how ANS and other organisations operate.
