CrowdStrike expands cloud detection and response to Google Cloud

CrowdStrike has expanded its Cloud Detection and Response capabilities with integration into Google Cloud, providing real-time protection for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

CrowdStrike has expanded its Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) capabilities to include support for Google Cloud. The update aims to address increasing threats where adversaries use AI to access cloud environments and move across systems at speed. CrowdStrike’s CDR is designed to detect and respond to cloud-based attacks as they begin, providing real-time protection.

The expansion reflects a shift from fragmented security tools towards a more unified approach across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The integration with Google Cloud seeks to enable organisations to use the CrowdStrike AI-native cybersecurity platform while meeting operational and data sovereignty requirements.

By extending the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to regional Google Cloud infrastructure, organisations can aim to deploy and consolidate security capabilities within their environments to support the prevention and management of potential data breaches.

The collaboration with Google Cloud is aligned with an approach that supports an open security ecosystem, offering flexibility and choice to meet different organisational requirements.
