In a strategic move aimed at strengthening its national presence, entrustIT, a multi-award-winning MSP, has completed the acquisition of DWM Technical Solutions. Known for its expertise in IT and security systems integration, DWM is based in Bedford and is a respected name in its field. This acquisition aligns with entrustIT's mission to establish a significant physical footprint across all major UK regions.
The purchase grants entrustIT complete ownership of DWM Technical Solutions, significantly enhancing their regional presence while introducing new competencies in electrical, security, AV, and smart building solutions. These additions are increasingly aligning with IT infrastructure and managed services, broadening entrustIT's service offerings. Despite being part of the larger entrustIT group, DWM will continue to operate under its existing brand, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and clients.
Jeff Dodd, CEO of entrustIT, highlighted the benefits of the acquisition, stating that the partnership strengthens their capabilities in IP and Systems integration. The merger brings their combined workforce to over 75 individuals, promising enhanced value delivery to their clients nationwide.
With a significant bricks-and-mortar presence now in Bedford, this acquisition bolsters entrustIT's operational framework in a region where they already serve multiple national clients. Existing clients stand to benefit from a more comprehensive service portfolio, deeper technical expertise, and accelerated onsite response times due to an expanded network of regional hubs.
Robert Munday, Managing Director of DWMTS, expressed satisfaction with this new chapter, acknowledging the 25 years spent building DWM and looking forward to growing further with entrustIT to serve their combined customers with exceptional service.
The acquisition is part of entrustIT's broader ambitions to expand their UK operations through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. This move reinforces their standing as one of the UK’s preeminent mid-market MSPs, poised to deliver sophisticated, integrated solutions across the country.
