Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and SAP have embarked on a collaborative journey, entering into a five-year agreement aimed at revolutionising enterprise-wide cloud and generative AI transformations.

The partnership seeks to streamline SAP's complex IT landscape, enhancing seamless operations while bolstering AI capabilities. This initiative promises to accelerate cloud adoption and enable more efficient business AI, ultimately fostering speed and efficiency in operations.

Building on a two-decade friendship, TCS has played a crucial role in shifting SAP’s business model to a more agile, pay-per-use model with its Enterprise Cloud Services (RISE with SAP). Over the coming years, TCS will continue to support IT business function transformations, encouraging innovation and timely responsiveness to market needs.

This strategic collaboration will be fortified by four carefully curated Centers of Excellence (CoEs). These will focus on Generative AI, Business Technology, Business Data Cloud, and Customer Experience. The Generative AI CoE will inspire new developments to integrate AI features within SAP's business processes.

The CoE dedicated to the Business Technology Platform will expedite the creation of next-gen features with low-code and no-code solutions. Meanwhile, the Business Data Cloud CoE will empower SAP to develop a unified data architecture, facilitating better data productisation, and enhancing service offerings.

The Customer Experience CoE will develop modern strategies for evaluating and enhancing customer experience throughout the value chain. This comprehensive approach ensures SAP's customers will be empowered with cutting-edge solutions and technologies, opening up new growth opportunities.

V Rajanna, President of Technology, Software and Services at TCS, asserts, “TCS and SAP have been a strategic partnership for more than two-decades, enabling enterprises to navigate complex digital transformation journeys. We support the “SAP runs SAP” philosophy and as we enter the next phase, this collaboration shall leverage transformative potential of AI and cloud to unlock new revenue streams, accelerate business growth, and deliver differentiated experiences for enterprise and their customers globally.”

This alliance underscores SAP's confidence in TCS as a trusted partner, having facilitated access to SAP’s enterprise capabilities in cloud computing, business AI, and data analytics over the past decades.
