Arvato is making waves in the burgeoning data centre logistics sector as it extends its reach to international markets. Recent developments have seen the company, named ATC since January 2025, set foot in the U.S. with operations beginning in Des Moines, Iowa. This entry follows successful expansions in Frankfurt and Dubai.

The launch in Des Moines is just the beginning, with additional plans for sites in Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Dulles already in motion—affirming Arvato’s commitment to establishing a strong U.S. presence in the data centre logistics industry.

Addressing the importance of this expansion, Mitat Aydindag, President Tech at Arvato, shared insights into the company’s vision. He highlighted the significance of the U.S. as a major hub for data centres, noting its role in Arvato’s strategic expansion plans. He emphasized the ability to offer services that maintain consistent standards globally, ensuring clients receive integrated solutions regardless of location.

In Des Moines, Arvato offers an extensive range of services tailored for hyperscaler clients. These include advanced warehousing solutions, last-mile delivery, as well as cabling and high-precision equipment handling. Notably, they introduced liquid-cooled server racks for thermal management—a novel solution yet to be rolled out in Europe.

Keith Young, Managing Director ATC, echoed the same enthusiasm, underlining the strategic importance of this latest move. He sees it as foundational for long-term growth, positioning Arvato as the preferred partner for hyperscalers worldwide.

During the U.S. setup phase, Arvato tapped into its global pool of data centre specialists. Teams from Frankfurt, London, and Dublin contributed to the training and ramp-up efforts, aligning operations with international service and safety standards.

This U.S. market entry is a testament to Arvato’s strategic integration with ATC. It underscores a commitment to enhancing capabilities within the digital infrastructure domain. With scalable processes and advanced technologies at the helm, Arvato continues to support clients through the challenges of modern digital infrastructure projects.
