Fluke Networks has unveiled its Versiv Data Center Kits, a pivotal toolset designed to prevent and troubleshoot connectivity issues in both copper and fibre networks. With projections indicating that artificial intelligence and data centre business will more than double to a staggering $622.4 billion by 2030, these kits arrive at a crucial juncture. Offering technicians and engineers the ability to handle hyperscale and enterprise data centres with ease, the kits pave the way for seamless management of emerging technologies.

The latest offerings from Fluke empower data centre users to efficiently manage high-density connections. This capability supports the rapid and reliable transmission of data, mitigating the risks of fibre optic contamination and potential network failures, which become increasingly critical in expansive hyperscale environments. Equipped with these tools, professionals can perform proactive inspections—an essential practice in environments where the margin for error is virtually non-existent.

The launch of the Versiv Data Center Kits encompasses:

  1. Fiber and Copper Commissioning and Troubleshooting Kit: Optimised for each lifecycle stage of a data centre, this kit ensures peak network performance from commissioning through troubleshooting.
  2. Fiber Inspection Kit: Tackles performance issues head-on by eradicating end-face contamination, the primary cause of fibre optic failures.
  3. MPO Maintenance and Troubleshooting Kit: Increases testing efficiency by 80% with a single button push, significantly enhancing data centre density capability.

Additionally, the kits are complemented by new accessories supporting Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) connectors. This innovation allows data centres to boost connection density without sacrificing performance. Users of the CertiFiber™ Pro Optical Loss Test Set can now employ the single-jumper reference method for testing MDC connections, thus enhancing inspection practices to limit failures due to contamination.

“With over 9,000 data centers worldwide and AI, cloud, and hyperscale technologies driving explosive growth, infrastructure teams are under unprecedented pressure,” said Mark Mullins, Product Marketing Manager at Fluke. “The new Versiv Data Center Kits are designed to help technicians and engineers meet that challenge head-on—equipping them with future-ready tools to prevent failures, speed up troubleshooting, and ensure high-density fiber connections are clean, tested, and reliable. These kits are about more than just tools—they’re about enabling uptime, performance, and long-term resilience in the data centers powering the next decade of innovation.”

These kits solidify Fluke Networks’ commitment to advancing technological capabilities and providing comprehensive solutions for data centres. As the industry evolves, Fluke Networks stands at the forefront, arming clients with essential tools for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks, attuned to the demands of modern data centres.
