Node4 extends support to former VMware partners amidst Broadcom transition

Node4 launches a partner support program to aid former VMware partners adapt to the changes introduced by Broadcom's revised partner strategy.

In the wake of Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware, a significant shift in partnership strategy has emerged, leaving a number of white label partners in search of new avenues. Node4, a distinguished managed services provider, is stepping up with a robust support initiative aimed at smoothing the waters for these partners.

Broadcom’s realignment means that contracts for former VMware white label partners face expiration beyond March 31, 2027, a move focusing on maintaining only a limited echelon of high-performing partners capable of deploying VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) at an expansive scale. Amongst these, Node4 stands out, retained as a Pinnacle Partner capable of delivering services seamlessly.

Ongoing Support Initiatives
  1. Support Until 2027: Node4 commits to uphold all current agreements until expiry. They will also provide extra VCF capacity during this timeline, contingent on meeting minimums.
  2. Post-2027 Managed Services: Ensuring continuity, Node4 moves to offer VMware services under new frameworks with Node4-owned hardware and stringent management oversight.
  3. Transition & Migration Assistance: Leveraging the latest tools and partnerships, Node4 plans to facilitate migrations, including VCDA-based transitions to modern VCF environments equipped with multi-tenancy.
  4. Commercial Collaboration Models: With Broadcom discontinuing the white label schemes, Node4 seeks flexible, tailored commercial solutions to accommodate impacted partners, alongside offering potential migration support.

“Our goal is to offer a clear path forward, providing capacity within existing agreements, supporting migrations, and offering compliant managed services under Broadcom’s new framework.” commented Andrew Slater, Technology & Innovation Director at Node4.
