Vertiv unveils OneCore Solution for data centres

Vertiv launches a global, scalable solution to reduce complexity and accelerate data centre deployments.

Vertiv, a prominent player in critical digital infrastructure, has introduced the Vertiv™ OneCore, a state-of-the-art solution that integrates their tried-and-tested power, thermal, and IT infrastructure technologies into a singular, comprehensive system. This prefabricated solution is set to revolutionise high-density data centre deployments by simplifying project execution, diminishing on-site complexities, and shrinking timelines. Available globally, it caters to various environments, including enterprise, colocation, sovereign, and neocloud.

Boasting a slab-up turn-key approach, Vertiv OneCore streamlines processes from conception to installation. With a single point of contact, complexities are minimised. The use of prefabricated building blocks, such as Vertiv™ SmartRun, housed in a Vertiv-provided steel shell, aids in reducing logistics challenges and maintaining consistencies in quality, cost, and schedules. To cap it all, Vertiv™ Unify enhances system visibility and centralised management.

“Vertiv OneCore is our answer to the need for reducing complexity and enabling speed in building data centre capacity at scale,” said Viktor Petik, senior vice president of infrastructure solutions at Vertiv. “We know the challenge isn’t just designing for today’s needs but building an adaptable foundation for the future. This solution reduces project complexity by standardising key components while preserving the flexibility to scale and evolve, expand easily, and integrate new technologies as business and IT requirements evolve.”

Designed for data centres with mixed loads or high rack densities, Vertiv OneCore eliminates the need for rigid configurations. Its modular design supports parallel manufacturing, thereby cutting timelines and costs. Customisable configurations optimise usable whitespace and improve airflow efficiency.

Core Features of Vertiv OneCore:

  • Scalable Power Capacity: Meeting energy requirements of 5 to 50 MW blocks, it's perfect for AI and high-density installations.
  • High Rack Density Flexibility: Accommodates 96 to 944 racks tailored to varying density needs.
  • Integrated Thermal and Power Systems: Energy efficiency is achieved through advanced cooling and power systems, including liquid cooling and UPS technology.
  • Concurrent Maintainability: Systems are built for resilience during maintenance or upgrades.
  • Optimised Site and Environmental Performance: Operates efficiently across extreme global temperatures, from -20°C to 55°C.
  • Advanced Redundancy: Features options for dual-fluid networks and distributed electrical redundancy.
  • Broad Voltage Compatibility: Meets regional standards with compatibility for varied voltage inputs.
  • Support and Service: Post-deployment solutions and expert support ensure consistent performance and reliability.
