Hyve Managed Hosting partners with Digital Realty to expand global operations

Hyve Managed Hosting collaborates with Digital Realty to strengthen global infrastructure and expand data center reach.

Global managed hosting solutions provider, Hyve Managed Hosting, has announced a strategic partnership with Digital Realty, a leading player in the realm of cloud and carrier-neutral data centres. The synergy facilitates Hyve's expansive growth strategy, granting it access to Digital Realty's extensive network of over 300 data centres worldwide via ServiceFabric®, Digital Realty’s premier interconnection offering.

The alliance underscores Hyve's commitment to diversifying its critical infrastructure to boost resilience. By collaborating with industry-leading providers, Hyve offers bespoke solutions that meet client needs, unhampered by singular vendor limitations.

Hyve has strategically chosen Digital Realty’s LON2 data centre, situated strategically between the Square Mile and Tech City, as the site for its initial deployment. This state-of-the-art facility not only boasts 17 years of 99.999% uptime but also operates on 100% renewable energy, aligning with Hyve's sustainability objectives.

LON2 offers ultra-low latency and robust connectivity, a boon to Hyve’s clientele, particularly those in the financial sector. Integrated with Digital Realty’s London Metro Connect, it enables high-speed connections to key London sites, including the Docklands. This interconnectivity opens avenues for direct access to internet exchanges, carriers, and major cloud platforms, seamlessly aligning with Hyve’s infrastructure.

'Our partnership with Digital Realty is ...an important strategic step to further diversify and strengthen our vendor ecosystem, enhance service resilience, and bolster disaster recovery capabilities for our customers' mission-critical workloads,” says Jake Madders, Director and Co-Founder, Hyve Managed Hosting. “We are starting our partnership strong by launching a new deployment at the high-performance LON2 site, which significantly increases our capacity to support ultra-low latency, enterprise-grade applications for our customers”.

“We’re proud to support Hyve as it expands its global footprint. Our platform of highly interconnected data centres offers the flexibility, resilience, and proximity to markets that fast-growing provider like Hyve need to scale confidently and deliver best-in-class services to their customers worldwide, from financial institutions to technology companies and everything in between,” says Seamus Dunne, Managing Director, Digital Realty in the UK and Ireland.

Using it's newfound partnership with Digital Realty, Hyve is already looking to future opportunities. The focus is on the North American market where it is quickly growing its customer base and strengthening market presence. Also the APAC region, where Hyve is evaluting opportunity for a new regional growth hub.
