inforcer, a prominent multi-tenant management solution for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), has successfully secured $35 million in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Dawn Capital, the largest B2B fund in Europe, with contributions from existing investors, Meritech Capital.

Founded by industry veterans, inforcer functions as a vital bridge between MSPs and Microsoft, facilitating Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs) worldwide in adopting Microsoft's enterprise-grade technologies. Launched in 2022, it has swiftly become indispensable in the modern MSP toolkit, enabling streamlined management, backup, restoration, and policy enforcement across multiple Microsoft 365 tenants.

Gary Melvin, Security Division Lead at Nostra, highlights the tool's importance, "Introducing customers to Business Premium, and providing them with the most valuable licensing, is only the first step. The other is to make sure those licenses stay configured and up to date. Trying to do that across 300 customers is impossible without inforcer."

Microsoft continues to dominate in delivering productivity, cloud computing, security, and AI solutions to enterprises. While a significant 80% of SMBs utilise Microsoft solutions, underutilisation persists due to the management overheads involved. inforcer addresses this gap, empowering MSPs to fully leverage Microsoft's robust security and AI offerings.

By advocating a cloud-first approach, inforcer is revolutionising the MSP service model by replacing outdated revenue streams from server maintenance with modern tenant architecture management. This transition positions inforcer as a key player in the digital transformation of IT administration, promoting efficiency and profitability among MSPs.

With the Series B funding, inforcer aims to advance its product roadmap and tackle complex operational challenges faced by MSPs. Emphasising AI innovation, inforcer's platform now includes features like AI-based policy analysis and impact assessments, allowing MSPs to optimise security and AI implementations with greater ease.

These advancements are poised to position inforcer and its MSP partners as leaders in security and productivity, driven by AI capabilities. As Evgenia Plotnikova, General Partner at Dawn Capital, points out, inforcer has the potential to become a strategic partner in MSP's AI journey.

In terms of global presence, inforcer has witnessed a rapid expansion, marked by the establishment of offices in the US, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, and Australia, serving an extensive customer base of over 800 MSPs worldwide.

Recent strategic hires such as Matthé Smit as Chief Product Officer and Christian Nagele as Chief Strategy Officer further bolster inforcer's position in shaping the future of AI and security for MSPs.

The coming years will see inforcer leveraging the Series B capital to deepen customer connections, expand its global reach, and empower its partners to unlock Microsoft's enterprise-grade AI and security solutions for SMBs more effectively.
