Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) solutions for AI next-generation data centres

GF Piping Systems, the Swiss provider of high-performance flow solutions and Gold Sponsor of DCW London 2025, will present its cutting-edge solutions for direct liquid cooling (DLC) at Stand DC142.

Attendees can visit GF Piping Systems at Data Centre World London 2025 from 12–13 March to explore a comprehensive polymer portfolio designed to improve mission-critical cooling infrastructure's efficiency, reliability, and longevity. Experts from GF Piping Systems will also participate in the conference program.

As the computing power demanded by artificial intelligence and high-performance applications soars, traditional air-cooling methods are nearing their limits. Leveraging water’s ability to transfer heat up to 1,000 times more effectively than air, GF Piping Systems’ direct liquid cooling solutions harness high-performance thermoplastics to deliver increased cooling efficiency, reduced weight, and superior reliability—all while eliminating the corrosion risks associated with metal systems.

“Data centers must evolve to meet escalating performance and energy-efficiency demands,” said Mark Bulmer, Global Market Development Data Center at GF Piping Systems. “Our innovative polymer solutions—featuring the high-performance PROGEF and SYGEF product lines—are engineered corrosion- and metal-free to safely deliver clean coolant. By integrating advanced infrared fusion technology and weld-bead inspection, we offer a system that’s not only safe and reliable but also quick to install and easier to maintain.”

Visitors will get hands-on experience at the booth with the IR-63 M, an infrared fusion machine that facilitates safe and leak-free pipe connections. Its contact-free melting process ensures clean connections with minimal weld beads, enhancing optimal flow performance. The machine-controlled welding process ensures repeatability and full traceability of every joint.

In addition to its direct liquid cooling offerings, GF Piping Systems supports traditional fluid applications such as chilled water, condenser water, evaporative water, or heat recovery, with its ecoFIT (PE100) and COOL-FIT (pre-insulated PE) solutions—providing a complete suite of cooling options for diverse project needs.
