The new site will significantly enhance EcoDataCenter's clients' ability to scale, given its strategic location near the company's initial establishment in Falun and adding significant capacity 240MW+. Construction will commence as soon as the necessary permits are secured, with the aim of having the first data centers ready by 2027. The proximity to the existing site will allow EcoDataCenter to leverage its established partner ecosystem ensuring local job opportunities.

The political majority in Borlänge supports the agreements signed today between Borlänge Municipality and EcoDataCenter. These agreements require approval from the municipal council, which will be decided at the next meeting on Tuesday, September 10th.
