Novel approach to data centre service lands award win

OryxAlign wins Data Centre Managed Services Vendor of the Year at DCS Awards 2024.

OryxAlign, a leading data centre-focused managed service provider (MSP), has won the Data Centre Managed Services Vendor of the Year award at the DCS Awards 2024. The achievement recognises the company’s 13 years of experience in the data centre market, where it currently supports approximately 250 MW of capacity, including one of the UK’s largest data centre operators. The awards ceremony took place on May 23 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s.

Now in its 14th year, the DCS Awards celebrates excellence across the data centre sector with 39 distinct categories. The annual awards acknowledge advancements in technology, successful client projects and the contributions of both individuals and companies to the sector.

"This award win is a testament to our novel approach in the data centre market,” said Carl Henriksen, CEO of OryxAlign. “Our success stems from an approach not typically used by MSPs, which goes beyond simply managing existing infrastructure. We actively listen to our clients, understand their challenges and then partner with them

to design and build technologically advanced, cyber-resilient and operationally efficient data centres.”

OryxAlign has collaborated with operators on 16 new data centre builds over the last 13 years and currently supports the critical IT infrastructure for facilities with a combined total of just under 250 MW capacity. The company currently works with seven data centre operators across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe, including one of the UK’s largest data centre operators.

OryxAlign’s client-centric approach is reflected in its industry-leading uptime statistics for all its data centre clients, with a perfect score of 100 per cent for both critical response and resolution in its service level agreements (SLAs) achieved in January 2024. This level of performance translates to a highly satisfied client base, with an impressive overall client sentiment rating of 95 per cent.
