Arrow Electronics signs pan-European distribution agreement with Rackmount.IT

Global technology provider Arrow Electronics has signed a pan-European distribution agreement with specialist rack manufacturer, Rackmount.IT.

Rackmount.IT specialises in high-quality rack mount kits custom-made to fit the differing shapes and sizes of the major hardware vendors‘ appliances. The agreement with Arrow includes its entire portfolio of rack mount kits which have been designed to help ensure the optimum usage and lifespan of each appliance.

The solutions offered by Rackmount.IT are characterised by their attention to detail, including custom cut-outs that preserve airflow and prevent overheating, front connections that grant easy access to all appliance ports, and a secured power supply.

Alexis Brabant, vice president sales of Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA, said, “This agreement helps create significant value-add for our channel partners by allowing their end-customers to get the most from the investment made in their IT hardware, with the additional benefit of a cleaner and more efficient environment.”

Eric Cantineau, Owner, Rackmount.IT, said, “We are delighted to sign this distribution agreement with Arrow as it will substantially extend our reach across Europe. Arrow has nurtured deep relationships with an extensive array of hardware vendors, of which our racking systems both optimise performance and the life span of their equipment. We have worked hard to design tailor-made systems that will make the managing of the IT kit as easy and straightforward as possible, helping ensure better work environments, and minimizing unplanned outages.”
