Arrow Electronics bolsters distribution activity with Sophos in Europe

Arrow adds Sophos to ArrowSphere in the U.K., France and Austria and signs distribution agreement with Sophos in Ireland.

Global technology provider Arrow Electronics has expanded its activity with Sophos, a global leader in next-generation cybersecurity, across Europe.

Channel partners and managed service providers in the U.K., France and Austria can now access Sophos’ products and services via Arrow‘s cloud delivery and management platform, ArrowSphere.

Arrow has added a suite of API-ready products from Sophos’ business portfolio to ArrowSphere, giving the channel access to a powerful choice of cybersecurity tools that can be easily rolled out across customers. Channel partners are also able to manage Sophos products in the cloud-native Sophos Central platform, to navigate quickly between products and across multiple customers, or via Sophos MDR - a dedicated 24/7 threat hunting, detection, investigation, and response service.

The two companies have also penned a new distribution deal in Ireland that starts on the 17th October.  The agreement will enable Sophos to scale its operations in the region, offering greater support for channel partners that are looking to help protect themselves and customers from ever-increasing cyber threats and deliver cyber security-as-a-service.

Mark Barcham, EMEA head of strategic alliances for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business said, “Last year, we were delighted to enter into a distribution agreement with Sophos, its first in the U.K., to expand its reach to managed service providers and resellers. We have grown our relationship over this time, and this extension means that our channel partners now have even greater choice, and easier access, across more territories. Unfortunately, everyone is a target for cyberattacks, and the addition of Sophos’ business portfolio adds significant value to the suite of security solutions that can be provisioned via ArrowSphere to offer the highest levels of protection.”

Jonathan Bartholomew, vice president sales Northern EMEA, Sophos, said, “Sophos is a partner-first organisation, and by expanding the scope of our work with Arrow, we are furthering our commitment to growth in Europe. Arrow is an established global distributor with a demonstrated history in increasing our reach with MSPs and helping us to expand our business across markets. The availability of our portfolio of next-generation detection and response products and services via Arrow will enable channel partners to easily scale their businesses and offer organizations advanced protection against the constantly changing threat landscape.”
