Proximity appoints Jignesh Patel as Business Development Director

Data centre veteran to drive edge colocation sales into enterprise and cloud services markets.

Proximity Data Centres Limited, the UK’s fast growing regional edge colocation data centre provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jignesh Patel as Business Development Director.

With responsibility for Proximity’s enterprise sales and leading the development of strategic hyperscale and alliance partnerships, Patel brings two decades of IT and data centre industry sales experience. He joins from Stellium Data Centres where he led the development of strategic partnerships for two years, preceded by senior sales roles at Iron Mountain Data Centres and Equinix.
