Palo Alto Networks has unveiled its new UK-based cloud location dedicated to serving UK customers. The UK cloud location will enable organisations to benefit from direct, high-performance access to Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR, Cortex Data Lake and WildFire while allowing storage of their data within UK borders.
“The demand for Cortex XDR, Cortex Data Lake and WildFire has grown dramatically over the past year. Our customers rely on us to secure their digital transformation and scale cloud services with confidence,” said Christian Hentschel, president of EMEA, Palo Alto Networks. “Our UK cloud location provides customers with global prevention, detection and response capabilities to counter increasingly sophisticated threats while addressing their data sovereignty and privacy needs.”
The UK cloud location supports Cortex XDR, Cortex Data Lake and WildFire, giving any enterprise customer access to these services without the data needing to leave the UK:
- Cortex XDR™: UK customers can take full advantage of the Cortex XDR extended detection and response platform, which integrates endpoint, network and cloud data to stop sophisticated attacks.
- Cortex™ Data Lake: UK customers have the ability to collect, transform and integrate their enterprise’s security data to enable Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- WildFire®: UK customers can fully utilise the industry’s most advanced cloud-based threat analysis and prevention engine while ensuring that files submitted for analysis stay in the region to address data privacy and sovereignty concerns.
Investing in local cloud infrastructure is part of Palo Alto Networks’ continued commitment to customers around the world, wherever their data resides.
