M247 has formed a new partnership with cybersecurity solution provider, Adarma. Their best-in-class security monitoring solution will be integrated into M247’s network infrastructure to increase visibility of potential network breaches.

Research shows that six out of ten businesses have experienced a network breach at some point over the last three years, demonstrating the importance of a robust cyber security strategy. Top cyber risks include ransomware, phishing, hacking data leakage, and insider threat.

M247 will roll out Adarma’s tailored solution across the whole business and manage its network security using best in class protective, preventative and detective controls. The solution is designed to improve monitoring across a wide variety of threat vectors, security events and trends.

From the Security Operations Centre (SOC), the Adarma team can significantly reduce investigation time and time taken to identify threats from hours to minutes, allowing them to immediately report breaches to M247 and its customers networks. This advanced threat detection capability will enable M247 to respond quickly to threats and security incidents leading to more effective protection for themselves, and via the services they provide to their customers.

Commenting on the partnership, Gary Myers, information security manager at M247 said: “Threats to networks are at an all-time high and can have a debilitating impact on operations if not detected in time. In order to protect our network and the services we offer our customers, working with trusted partners on our cyber security strategy is essential. Partnering with Adarma was the best decision for M247 as they not only have the expertise to oversee our network but also understand what we are trying to achieve as a business. Customers trust us to protect their data and we consider to be crucial in delivering the best possible service to our customers”.

“As we accelerate our Cyber Security Programme, we are continuing to develop greater visibility and capability. We want to pass on every lesson we learn to add value for our customers and build robust solutions that they can directly benefit from.”
