Faculty supports NHS response to COVID-19

Faculty is proud to be working, along with other industry partners, to support the NHS response to the COVID-19 pandemic, by helping support the national teams in their use of data.

Faculty will be supporting the development and execution of the data response strategy. This includes developing dashboards, models and simulations to provide key central government decision-makers with a deeper level of information about the current and future coronavirus situation to help inform the response.


The project builds on Faculty’s existing work with NHSX to create the new NHS AI lab that aims to set standards and explore techniques for the safe and effective deployment of artificial intelligence across the health service. 

The Faculty team is led by Dr Marc Warner, CEO and Co-Founder and Myles Kirby, Head of Healthcare Practice.

Dr Warner said: “We’re proud to be able to support the NHS at this time of national crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic is a human tragedy, but technology can play an important supporting role in the response by helping operational and strategic decision-makers to make informed, effective decisions using the power of data.”
