Colt Data Centre Services strengthens commitment to energy & sustainability development programme

Norbert Szalay’s appointment will boost Colt DCS’ dedication towards more sustainable data centre operations.

Colt Data Centre Services (DCS) has appointed its Global Energy Director, Norbert Szalay. This announcement comes as Colt DCS rapidly expands its data centre footprint across the globe while heightening its commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability programmes across its portfolio.

 

Norbert will play a pivotal role in driving Colt DCS’ global energy & sustainability strategy. He will be key to ensure Colt DCS’ infrastructure within current and new site developments meet the highest energy efficiency standards and drive the procurement of green energy across Europe & Asia ensuring the overall sustainability goals for the business are achieved.

 

Norbert comes with 20 years of experience in global energy trade and management, having previously worked for Schneider Electric where he supported clients in over 100 countries to achieve their energy and sustainability goals. His previous experience also includes setting up energy trading platforms across North and Latin America, India, Thailand and Australia for major clients with energy spend of over $1 billion.
