Infinity SDC confirms sale of Here East data centre

nfinity SDC – one of London’s leading data centre operators – has announced the sale of its Stratford facility at Here East in a transaction involving Infinity, the property investment and development company Delancey and the V&A Museum.

Located at the redeveloped Olympic Broadcast Centre, the deal will enable the V&A Museum to expand across London as part of its V&A East project. The sale of Infinity Stratford has helped to form a unique space large enough to enable the creation of a world-class Collection and Research Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park which will house a world-leading collection of art, design and performance.

Following the sale, Infinity SDC will continue to operate and develop its award-winning Romford campus which provides a full range of data centre services from rack colocation to fully bespoke, client-dedicated data halls.

“We are hugely proud to be associated with the V&A’s move east and to have helped play our part in facilitating the museum’s goal of revolutionising how its collections are accessed,” said Stuart Sutton, CEO, Infinity SDC. “Moving forward, our focus is firmly on continuing the development of our Romford data centre campus, which has already proven extremely popular with customers looking for a well-connected, purpose-built, state of the art facility close to the heart of London.”
