Hammer and StorageCraft Technology have announced a Europe-wide distribution agreement that will see Hammer adding the StorageCraft OneBlox® scale-out solutions to its portfolio.

The partnership will introduce StorageCraft’s converged mid-market storage technology across Europe, following the company’s acquisition of Exablox Corporation earlier this year.
StorageCraft OneBlox is an object-based, scale-out storage appliance that solves businesses’ common storage pain points: complex installation, cumbersome management, limited capacity and forklift upgrades.
Hammer’s extensive reach and expertise across Europe makes it a logical choice as a pan-European value-added distributor for the OneBlox range of products. “We are delighted to collaborate with Hammer on the distribution of our OneBlox product offering in Europe,” said Andy Zollo, vice president of sales in EMEA for StorageCraft. “Our simple, powerful and flexible scale-out, object-based storage solution with enterprise grade functionality lets companies of all sizes expand their storage as their business scales.”
He added: “Hammer has in-depth knowledge, experience and an exceptional track record in taking the latest innovative storage solutions to market across Europe. Its enviable success in this area, coupled with the additional services and support, makes Hammer the value-added distributor of choice for companies seeking quality, value and unmatched support.”
Gerard Marlow, General Manager – OEM & Whitebox Storage for Hammer, said: “The OneBlox line of products is an innovative, pay-as-you-grow, object-based scale-out NAS storage solution. It features enterprise-class functionality such as inline deduplication, compression, continuous snapshots, encryption and off-site replication.
“With OneBlox, Hammer can offer an enterprise solution to all its customers. Working with StorageCraft allows us to offer a unique solution to companies faced with explosive growth of data and very stringent uptime requirements. OneBlox’s converged mid-market storage technology with ground-breaking scalability gives these businesses the confidence that their data will be safe, accessible and optimised whenever they need it.”
