The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) in Dublin has chosen the Arkivum PERPETUA solution as the cornerstone of their multimedia archive collection for protecting and promoting wider access to these resources by the public.
ITMA is home to the largest multimedia collection in existence dedicated to contemporary and historic Irish traditional music, with materials dating back to the eighteenth century. ITMA has selected Arkivum PERPETUA to provide an end-to-end managed solution which will ensure accessibility to its valuable sound recordings, still and moving images, manuscripts, printed materials and other irreplaceable assets, as well as safeguard and preserve them for the long term. ITMA has expanded over time and, now in its 30th year, is the premier centre for enjoying and studying Irish music.
