Victorious Volta

Central London data centre is recognised for providing industry first services.

Volta Data Centres, Central London’s newest purpose-designed, carrier-neutral data centre, has been awarded ‘Colocation Provider of the Year’ at the DCS Awards hosted at Grange St Paul’s Hotel, London on 18 May 2017.

The black-tie gala event recognises the achievements and hard work of product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and providers working in the UK and European data centre sector.

‘Colocation Provider of the Year’, an industry recognised award, required entrants to provide evidence of unique services, industry accreditations and the business results it has achieved. Volta’s Power by the Hour and Platinum Power SLA are industry first offerings that disrupted the market by offering services that no other data centre in the UK provides. This achievement further secures Volta’s position as a major player in retail the data centre market.

Jonathan Arnold, Managing Director, Volta Data Centres, comments, “We are very pleased to win this award and be recognised amongst our peers for providing excellent services. It validates the hard work that has gone into designing the best possible solutions and facilities for our customers.”

Since its opening in 2013, Volta has been working tirelessly to provide a highly secure, flexible and scalable IT and hosting environment to customers, whilst also achieving the highest industry accreditations.

Arnold concludes, “I’d like to thank all those who supported our nomination. We will continue to push forward with our accreditations and challenge the industry norms with our service offerings. The recent expansion onto the third floor of our facility is testament to the popularity of the Central London location.
