Virtual Instruments has formed a partnership with GCH Test & Computer Services, the information technology tools and services specialist. This relationship will enable organisations with under 500TB of storage to benefit from the unique analytics and performance insights enabled by Virtual Instruments. Mid-market customers can now more easily access the Virtual Instruments Load DynamiX Enterprise platform to enable more intelligent storage acquisition and deployment decisions by working directly with GCH.
Acting as a service provider, GCH will bring the capabilities of Virtual Instruments’ Load DynamiX Enterprise solution within the financial reach of these end users, enabling them to access the industry’s premier workload analysis, modelling and load generation platform. GCH’s mid-sized customers will be able to better plan their IT initiatives and align IT infrastructures with business needs. Through utilisation of the Load DynamiX Enterprise platform, customers will be able to meet the most demanding of storage infrastructure performance testing and validation requirements to deliver a level of insight into system behaviour not previously capable.
Well positioned for this product and service offering, UK-based GCH has been supplying and supporting customers for over 20 years with a long-standing client base of small and mid-sized independent companies, as well as renowned storage vendors such as IBM, HPE and HDS. GCH works with companies in the aerospace and defence industries as well as multinational financial institutions such as Lloyds, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and other large organisations such as FORD, Morrisons, BAE Systems and British Telecom.
“GCH has a wealth of experience and local market knowledge when it comes to storage infrastructure services, analysis and performance validation, in addition to an excellent reputation for comprehensive customer support, training and customised solutions,” said Kalen Kimm, VP, Strategic Alliances at Virtual Instruments. “This partnership is another important step in our bid to extend the value of Virtual Instruments’ solutions beyond large enterprises to a much wider community.”
The news around this relationship follows the recent launch of WorkloadCentral, a free cloud-based workload profiling and analytics platform enabling workload creation, analysis and sharing among an open community of users. This is Virtual Instruments’ first free-of-charge offering, marking an initial step in the organisation’s vision to empower workload analysis and workload sharing at a community level.
