BeyondTrust has given details of the certified bi-directional integration between its BeyondInsight platform for privileged access and vulnerability management and SailPoint’s IdentityIQ identity and access management solution. This integration will provide security administrators with complete visibility and control of user access – both privileged and non-privileged – including what users can do and what they have done, anywhere.
Meeting audit and compliance mandates requires IT organizations to know: Who has access to specific applications and data; whether that access is appropriate; and that it’s being used properly. Standard identity and access management (IAM) solutions cannot provide that level of granularity.
The integration of BeyondInsight version 6.0 enables SailPoint IdentityIQ customers to manage user access for privileged and non-privileged accounts. The resulting benefits include:
· Complete visibility and governance over all users, accounts and entitlements
· Significantly reduce the risk created by gaps in privileged account coverage, which can expose the organization to a damaging data breach
· Identity and access governance which also includes vulnerability and threat management
“SailPoint IdentityIQ users can now leverage the fine grained controls and verifiable audit visibility through detailed activity logs, session monitoring and keystroke logging to understand who is doing what with their privileges. Combined with BeyondInsight’s strong behavioral analytics organizations can more effectively identify and mitigate external and internal information security threats,” said Brad Hibbert, chief technology officer, BeyondTrust. “We offer the broadest set of integrations, and our partnership with SailPoint is yet another example of our open architecture and commitment to customers to create the market’s most comprehensive view of insider and privilege risk.”
