Tripwire has introduced a next generation Tripwire® Enterprise 8.5 agent built on the firm’s new secure, scalable and extensible platform, Tripwire Axon™. The Tripwire Enterprise 8.5 agent on Tripwire Axon is a pluggable, multiservice, high-performance solution designed to address the unique challenges of monitoring and securing the exponential growth of diverse endpoints found on enterprise and industrial networks, including Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices. According to Cisco, the number of connected devices is projected to increase to over 50 billion by 2020.
