Kit Burden, Global Co-Head of the Technology sector at DLA Piper said: "Cyber risk is one of the most serious existential threats that our clients face, whilst data is increasingly seen as the life blood of our clients' operations. Ross's hire will add further strength to our global Data Protection practice and his experience working with FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies means he is well placed to advise our clients as they navigate an increasingly complex landscape."
Andrew Dyson, partner and Co-Chair of the EMEA Data Protection, Privacy & Security Group at DLA Piper, added: "Universally, our clients are investing more in digital technologies and as such are facing heightened risks of cyber breaches and regulatory enforcement, add to that the new General Data Protection Regulation and you are left with a melting pot of risks. Ross's technical knowledge and energy are complementary to our existing global and national practices and we look forward to welcoming him into the team."
