Tintri appoints former Cisco CFO, John C. Bolger, to Board of Directors

John C. Bolger has joined Tintri as its newest board member. John brings more than 30 years of accounting and financial expertise, as well as extensive public company board and senior management experience.

“John’s extraordinary combination of financial and technology experience gives him an unique perspective that complements Tintri’s rapid growth and ambitious plans,” said Ken Klein, Chairman and CEO, Tintri. “John will be a valued strategic advisor to Tintri.”
 
Bolger is a retired vice president of finance and administration as well as chief financial officer for Cisco Systems Inc., and has served as audit committee chair on more than 10 boards of a variety of high tech companies.
 
“Virtualisation and cloud have changed the data centre landscape. Since Tintri VM-aware storage is specifically designed for virtualisation and cloud, it’s changing the storage market,” said Bolger. “I’m excited to help Tintri reach its full potential as the next great storage company.”
 
Bolger has been a private investor for the past 10 years and is a certified public accountant. Bolger holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
