Tenable Network Security has launched complimentary on-demand training designed to provide worldwide enterprise-grade instruction on Tenable’s entire product suite completely free of charge to the company’s more than 1 million users. The training aims to help organizations of all sizes accelerate the transition to security best-practices such as continuous network monitoring and to master two of the world’s most widely used security solutions – Tenable’s SecurityCenter™ and Nessus®.
“Having the right security deployed on your network is only half the battle, the other half is getting a team quickly up to speed with the knowledge and training to get the most out of your security investments,” said Ron Gula, CEO, Tenable Network Security. “With the launch of our new online training portal, Tenable is providing free and broad access to some of the best cybersecurity training on the market to help users keep up with increasingly sophisticated threats and maximize the value they receive from our products. The offering benefits the full range of Tenable users, from individual consultants, to small organizations, to large enterprises with globally distributed teams.”
Tenable’s new offering speeds user access to training by eliminating procurement barriers. The online training center offers all Tenable users worldwide 24/7 access to self-service training videos from Tenable experts. The training covers Tenable’s next-generation security solutions, ranging from Nessus to SecurityCenter Continuous View™ (SecurityCenter CV™).  Specific topics include vulnerability management, security analytics, compliance and audit, dashboards, Nessus Agents and Tenable’s innovative Assurance Report Cards™ (ARCs).
To house the training, Tenable has launched a new on-demand training portal with resources and value-added insight into the company’s products to effectively optimize security programs. In addition, security professionals in the U.S. government’s Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) program have access to this training. Tenable also offers instructor-led training in virtual, classroom or onsite settings for organizations with additional needs.
