Centrify has joined Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) as a corporate member. CSA is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes best practices for assuring security of Cloud Computing and provides education on the use of Cloud Computing to help secure all computing. The Centrify Identity Platform protects against the leading point of attack used in data breaches ? compromised credentials — by securing an enterprise’s internal and external users as well as its privileged accounts, through cloud, mobile or on-premise.
Centrify plans to contribute to CSA’s initiatives and share best practices around using identity to define a new security perimeter. Identity-defined security enables IT teams to establish accountability, reduce the attack surface available to hackers and easily prove compliance at any point in time. Centrify brings over 10 years of experience securing enterprise identities against cyberthreats by managing and strengthening user identities. With its platform of integrated software and cloud-based services, Centrify uniquely secures and unifies identity for both privileged and end users across today’s hybrid IT world of cloud, mobile and data center.
“Centrify looks forward to participating in CSA’s initiatives and research, and further contributing to cloud security standards and best practices,” said Bill Mann, chief product officer of Centrify. “The CSA is a world-class organisation that shares our goal of ensuring a secure cloud computing industry and environment. We look forward to collaborating with other service providers, governments and customers to further the cloud computing industry.”
“We are very excited about Centrify joining CSA as a corporate member,” said Jim Reavis, CEO of Cloud Security Alliance. “Identity is the new perimeter and Centrify has a proven track record of helping enterprises everywhere secure this perimeter. Centrify’s solutions help organisations securely adopt and manage cloud solutions, which is critical.”
