Aria Networks has appointed Sigma Communications as a distribution partner in the Asia Pacific region.

Under this agreement Sigma Communications will offer both pre-sales and post-sales support to Aria Networks’ growing customer base of telecommunications and OTT service providers in the region, extending the company’s global footprint.

This announcement follows the opening of a new office in Santa Clara in May and enables Aria Networks to seamlessly service and support customers in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Sigma Communications will benefit from Aria Online – Aria Networks’ application store that enables service providers to carry out common network optimisation functions simply and effectively by downloading a relevant app from a portfolio that supports routing, traffic modelling and margin analysis across complex data networks. This cloud-based approach to network optimisation reduces complexity and provides Sigma Communications with the tools to approach relevant customers quickly and effectively.

Wolrad Claudy, Chief Commercial Officer of Aria Networks, comments: “Sigma Communications is a significant and respected distribution partner in Asia, headquartered in Taipei and with regional offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. The partnership strengthens Aria Networks’ presence in one of the fastest growing regions of the world for network automation and optimisation and will support significant growth in the region.”

Jimmy Wu, CEO and founder of Sigma Communications says: “The growth of demand for data in Asia has been the fastest in the world. Service providers need support to optimise and automate networks to deliver data effectively and profitably. Our partnership with Aria Networks will enable Sigma Communications to deliver class leading analysis and optimisation applications to a growing market from China to Australia.”
