Jedox 6 'redefines' mobile planning in the cloud

A new mobile BI experience, new data connectors and comprehensive compliance management for fast, secure planning, anywhere.

Jedox releases Jedox 6 to empower companies to quickly transform planning and reporting with Business-Driven Intelligence. New capabilities include connectors for Salesforce and Qlik, a new social collaboration platform, and a completely new mobile experience.

“Jedox 6 is our most advanced release yet. We’ve distilled the essence of our unified BI and planning platform, accelerated it, and made it even easier to use,” said Jedox CTO Matthias Kr?mer. “New connectors enable you to unify data from Salesforce, SAP HANA, Hadoop and Qlik, whether stored in the cloud or on-premise.” Business users in sales, purchasing, HR and marketing can directly connect to their data, analyze and understand it and then immediately use it in planning and what-if scenarios.

The new Jedox 6 delivers higher speed, enterprise scalability and usability. The Jedox Server is accelerated by the new Dynamic Data Engine (DDE) that automatically adjusts to data model complexity to optimize performance in complex big-data planning models. New server performance monitoring provides robust enterprise controls for very broad user deployments, while expanded workflow and audit management support growing compliance requirements.

There is also a fully redesigned mobile experience. “Jedox 6 takes mobile analytics to a completely new level to provide powerful planning and beautiful reporting,” continues Kr?mer. “This is our first release since acquiring mobile BI provider Reboard. Advanced encryption delivers a safe and secure environment for teams to collaborate on plans from anywhere. It’s our best Jedox yet.” Jedox mobile users can create ad-hoc analytics, save views, share offline content, write back sales forecasts, manage workflow, comment on actuals, and capture any data, on any device.

Because Jedox 6 is available as SaaS (Software as a Service) and on-premise, it completely supports companies transitioning to the cloud. “The majority of companies will migrate performance management to the cloud by 2020,” explains Jedox CEO Kay-Ingo Greve. “With Jedox 6, we build on our mission in helping business users accelerate ROI through self-service BI solutions, without burdening IT. They have the flexibility to choose the best option for their needs – whether private, hybrid or public cloud.”
