Huawei wins five-year IT operation contract with Ooredoo Kuwait

Ooredoo Kuwait and Huawei have signed a “Future Mode of Operation (FMO)” IT and Network Managed Services contract at the 2015 Huawei Global Service Forum. Under the terms of the contract, Huawei will provide managed IT and network operations, network performance management and service quality improvement for Ooredoo Kuwait. Huawei will provide an ICT Converged Operation solution to manage IT and telecom equipment through converged operation processes, resources and tools. The aim is to help Ooredoo Kuwait achieve digital transformation, operational excellence and to improve the customer experience.

“The FMO project is significant for Ooredoo,” said Prabjit Singh Panesar, Ooredoo Kuwait Deputy CTO & Director of Service Assurance. “It will accelerate the speed of our response to the market, improve network performance and quality of service, and enhance the end-user experience.
