ZTE is among the first companies in the industry to receive a certificate of conformance by the Open Networking Foundation (ONF) for OpenFlow® v1.3, the latest version of the global standard for software-defined networking (SDN) technology.
ZTE’s bearer network product M6000-S successfully passed OpenFlow v1.3 conformance tests conducted at the Beijing Internet Institute, an international testing laboratory accredited by the ONF. The availability of OpenFlow specifications enables technology providers globally to develop interoperable products, accelerating the adoption of SDN technology in the industry.
ZTE’s solutions passed tests for the establishment of control modification and statistics of flow tables, the interaction of “multipart” messages between the controller and router channels, interaction of “features” messages between the controller and router, in addition to matching and execution.
As a globally-leading telecommunications solutions provider, ZTE is committed to promoting the global standardisation and commercialisation of SDN, successfully completing interoperability tests from the Open Internetworking Forum (OIF) and the ONF, in addition to OpenFlow conformance certification tests. ZTE has partnerships with globally-leading operators to develop superior SDN solutions, driving the evolution of next-generation networking technologies in the industry.
