Workspot expands Windows client server app deployment with integration for Citrix XenApp

Workspot introduces new functionality that simplifies IT administration for deploying Windows client server apps using Microsoft RDS or Citrix XenApp.

Workspot says that its solution enables IT Administrators to deliver Citrix XenApp, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Web Apps and Common Internet File System (CIFS) into the same workspace. Workspot is helping to solve the corporate challenge of securely and safely delivering apps and data to any device with a single frictionless user experience across all platforms.

With this new integration, Workspot significantly eases the IT Administrator workload for delivering all enterprise applications to any user on any device. Workspot simplifies the complexity of managing the delivery of different types of applications across Mac, PC, iOS, and Android devices. Using Workspot Control, Workspot’s cloud based management tool, IT administrators can efficiently provision Windows apps published by both XenApp and RDS to users in a few easy clicks.

“Our mission here at Workspot is to simplify the complexity of delivering all enterprise applications to any device, while maintaining a consistent user experience across those devices. IT wants flexibility in choosing the means to deliver Windows apps. However, having multiple backend solutions increases the complexity of delivering Windows apps to any device and can create a disjointed user experience for end users,” states Amitabh Sinha, CEO and Co-Founder of Workspot. “By leveraging Workspot, IT gains the ability to deliver both XenApp and RDS to the same user workspace with a consistent user experience, which unshackles administrators. Workspot’s platform makes it easy for IT Administrators to deliver any app to any device.”
