Liebert CRV 300 mm Chilled Water units offer customers a larger cooling capacity within a minimal footprint

Available in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the two new compact thermal management systems are specifically designed for small to medium sized data centres looking to optimise space, as well as capital and operational costs. Both units offer data centre managers a large cooling capacity from a smaller 300 mm frame leaving more space for servers, with the CR060 model providing the highest cooling capacity within a unit of this size on the market.

The new thermal management systems are fully featured, uniquely offering the same capabilities typically found in larger cooling units; such as humidifiers, electric reheat and high efficiency filters. The Liebert CRV also includes air diffusers, which allow air to be directly supplied to the IT equipment thus enabling the unit to effectively address hot spots and minimize energy costs. The systems have also been designed in line with the latest industry trends and optimised to allow data centres to run at a higher chilled water temperature, subsequently offering optimised efficiencies and significantly reduced operating costs.

The Liebert CRV range is available in a variety of options including Direct Expansion and Chilled Water units in 300 mm and 600 mm width versions ranging from 11 kW – 50 kW of capacity. The self-contained units are designed to continuously monitor variations in heat loads and remove unwanted hot air from data centre aisles, ensuring that data centre temperature is maintained at an optimal level. When combined with the patented SmartAisle™ cold aisle containment, the Liebert CRV can offer up to 50 percent energy savings. All units can be integrated with existing racks or configured as a unified solution, combining racks, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and monitoring capabilities, resulting in reduced total cost of ownership (TCO), and subsequently minimising start up, connection and labour investments.
