Coreix selected to procure IaaS solutions on the G-Cloud 6 framework

Coreix has been selected as a vendor to participate in the government’s G Cloud 6 framework. This move will enable the London based managed hosting, colocation and network services provider to procure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions to government departments and public sector organisations.

As an established managed hosting provider with a series of information governance, security accreditations and accolades to its name including PCI DSS and ISO 27001, Coreix will initially be offering an array of dedicated server solutions on the digital framework. It will also look to provide backup and restoration, database solutions, hack recovery, security auditing and virtualisation technologies to clients in this space.

With the newest iteration of the G-Cloud framework, G-Cloud 7, expected to be released later this year, it is expected that Coreix will extend the number of service offerings available on the upcoming version of the digital framework to include Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.

Commenting on the news, Paul Davies, Technical Director of Coreix, said: “We are delighted to be a member of the G-Cloud framework procuring best in class Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions to government and public sector organisations.”

He added: “As a supplier to such a prestigious digital framework, we look forward to strategically optimising IT operations for clients in this space.”
